    • Yes, sometimes they do, Susan! Ownership of recipes does share some similarities to written works…:P People don’t hand down family recipes any more 😦
      This is really pertinent to me as I’ve spent a few years trying to find an authentic recipe for an old traditional Bengali fish dish that my aunt used to make, …and whatever recipes I’ve received from her daughters, never gave me ‘that’ taste!! ….But, when I have it in their house, even today it tastes perfect!
